Reflections on 2021
Holly

2021 was much less eventful than 2020, which was fine with us. We particularly enjoyed traveling again to see family.
Tied for Tie Dye
TieDye1
The summer theme was tie dyed with family. In June, we spent a week on the Isle of Palms in South Carolina with Shaunda's family. Shaunda's niece made beautiful tie dyed shirts for everyone.
TieDye1
In July, we traveled to the other side of the country for a reunion at David's mom's house in Washington state, where we all made our own tie dyed shirts.
Thanksgiving
For Thanksgiving, we traveled to Prescott, Arizona, where David's brother Seth and family recently relocated.

We spent Christmas and New Year's in Georgia with Shaunda's extended family.

It was so warm in GA we got to swim!

Pumpkin
We stumbled across this super cool way to celebrate Halloween out in the salt flats next to the Great Salt Lake. A truckload of pumpkins and a flock of at least 20 powered paragliders produced a good hour of pumpkin smashing delight.
Skeleton Ski Jump
We are quite embarrassed to admit that we just discovered Utah Olympic Park near Park City after having lived here for 9 years. It's amazing! In the summer, you can watch Olympic athletes ski jumping into a huge pool. In the winter, you can watch all manner of sliding sports, like the skeleton bobsled where people with stupendous reflexes and dubious judgment slide headfirst down a frozen waterslide at up to 80 mph.
Shaunda continues to practice employment law as a partner at Clyde Snow & Sessions. David continues to freelance as a legal data researcher; he is currently halfway through a year-long project funded by the Pew Charitable Trusts to study debt collection in Utah.

We wish you the best in 2022! Please visit.
